Pachadi or raita is a yogurt-based side dish. It goes very well with a broad spectrum of dishes vegetarian or non-veg like grilled lamb, tandoori chicken, grilled fish or shrimp. Indi meals generally consist some kind of yogurt dish to counteract the heat of spicy food and also to aid digestion.

Mix yogurt with garlic paste, salt, freshly ground pepper. Then gently combine cucumber and radish and caraway seeds and chili powder(to taste). Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
You can add any kind of fruits or vegetables in making raita. Here I have added radish mixed with cucumber, a little caraway seeds, and a sprinkle of chili powder.You can also seasoned the yogurt with coriander, cumin, mint, and other herbs and spices.
1 cup of organic yogurt
1/4 cup of julieened cucumber (skin on)
4 Tbsp julieened radish
1/8 tsp caraway seeds
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp mashed garlic clove
salt and pepper
Method:
