Enjoy a delicious pesto using nasturtiums from your garden. You can also add the nasturtium flowers in the pesto.
Ingredients:
1 cup packed basil
1 cup packed chopped nasturtiums
1/2 cup packed parsley
1/4 cup pine nuts, roasted
5 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 to 1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Add basil, nasturtiums, parsley, pine nuts, garlic and Parmesan in a food processor and pulse for a minute or two. Then add olive oil and process for another minute. Add a little salt and pepper.
Adjust the consistency with the olive oil.
