1 cup green mung
beans- soaked overnight
1/4 cup grated
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
pinch of salt
1 cup of water
Mung Beans
1/2 dark brown sugar 1/4 cup grated
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
pinch of salt
1 cup of water
Add the sugar and a pinch
of salt and cook until slightly dry.
Take a bit of the mixture and make it into a ball, then
flatten it. Set aside.
For the batter :
1/2 cup rice flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp alkaline water or 1/4 baking soda
3/4 cup water
2 pinches of turmeric powder
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp alkaline water or 1/4 baking soda
3/4 cup water
2 pinches of turmeric powder
Mix the ingredients for the batter well. Make sure there is
no lumps.
Heat enough oil in a frying pan.
Dip the flatten mung bean cake, into the batter and fry till
golden brown
