I was jolted out of bed by a major earthquake at 3.20 a.m., Sunday morning. Although it happened some 35 miles away from where I live, the impact of the 6.1 magnitude earthquake could be felt in Sonoma Count. My whole house, started rocking back and forth, sending shivers into my whole body. I wanted to run downstairs and out of the house, but the severe rattling subsided with 25 seconds.
This is one of the major earthquakes I have ever experienced since living in California and hopefully the last.
A delicious, heady zucchini soup with a hint of turkish herbs and a smidgen of cream to please your senses after a jolting experience.
