Pan Grilled Eggplant with Soy Mirin Dressing



Ingredients:

2 medium size young eggplants, slice lengthwise

Dressing:

1 Tbsp roasted sesame seeds
1 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp mirin
1 tsp sake
1 tsp sesame seed oil

Method:

Lightly brush eggplants with canola oil and sprinkle a little salt.

Combine the soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sake and sesame oil and mix well. Then add the sesame seeds.

Pan grill the eggplants until cook and soft.

Remove and arrange on plate then sprinkle with the dressing and serve warm.
