Tiramisu, "pick me up" in Italian, is a dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with whipped egg yolks, sugar, liquor and  Mascarpone  cheese.


2 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp cognac, Marsala
12 ladyfingers
8 ozs Mascarpone chees2 cups strong coffee
cocoa powder
icing sugar

Method :

1  Soak ladyfingers in coffee and set aside

2   Whisk egg yolks, sugar until light and fluffy. Add the mascarpone cheese and cognac. Mix well. 

3    To assemble, place some  Mascarpone  cheese on the bottom of a glass, then break pieces of soaked ladyfingers and layer them, sprinkle some cocoa powder. Again put some  Mascarpone  cheese, followed by ladyfingers and cocoa powder and finished the layer with  Mascarpone  cheese. 

4.   Set in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours. Before serving, sprinkle with icing sugar and cocoa powder.
